an unconventional way to approach info vis, but I think it's so great-- speaks volumes on the power of design to make two unrelated things complement and emphasize each other. also, a super effective (because of its subtlety) approach to environmental awareness/ advocacy!

Ishmam's was better! (or at least, I think...) GOOD Magazine's website published a video about how the "shockingly" little amount of space it would take to fuel America on solar panels. The video does a poor job of contextualizing and emphasizing relative and physical space compared to Ishmam's map, but really cool that you both picked up on the same idea...

WWII Museums Methods

A collaboration project with a student from MICA's Curitorial Practice MFA. He supplied the information and direction and designed the visualization.
