To explore this, Adam J Calhoun wiped all the words from some novels, leaving a condensed sequence of punctuation. I think it's profoundly interesting to think of a book's rhythm, patterns, and flow from start to finish this way. Plus, Calhoun did a bunch of analysis and additional visuals (like the three below), which you can check out here.
